The Internet has opened up a world of opportunity for people who want to make money. However, for most people, the Internet is both a playground and a nightmare all at the same time. On one hand, it's the most accessible and lucrative sales channel ever created. But on the other hand, most people will never make a dime online... unless they learn the simple, yet important secrets revealed in this article.
You can make tons of money with affiliate marketing. But it does take some know-how. This is the easiest, most painless way to get up and running... and... to start making profits right from the very first day.
So let's break it down!

What Is Affiliate Marketing?
The concept of affiliate marketing is deceptively simple. In essence, it’s a way to make money by promoting someone else’s (or a brand’s) product or service on your website. To be clear, you don’t need to have a website to start to participate in affiliate marketing.
You can use your email address, TikTok or a Facebook account, etc. The main key to remember is to build a connection with your audience by providing value, and building trust. The first step in learning how to do this is to learn what an affiliate is. An affiliate is a person or business who promotes a seller’s product or service by means of an affiliate link.
This link will be included on that seller’s website. When a visitor clicks on this link, they are taken to a website owned by you (the marketer). From there, you offer something of value to the customer. In exchange, they give you an affiliate link which you then pass on to the seller.
The customer uses this link to get to the seller's website. And when they do that, you get paid a commission for whatever they buy.
If you are interested in affiliate marketing, you should start by becoming familiar with the following concepts:
An “affiliate link” is a special link that contains information about your relationship with the merchant. It is very important to understand the difference between an affiliate link and a normal link.
An affiliate link looks like this:
http://www.example.com/affiliate-link/
whereas a “normal link” looks like this:
http://www.example.com/product.html
Remember, whenever someone clicks on an affiliate link, they are taken directly to the merchant's website. Whereas, whenever someone clicks on a normal link, they are taken to a website where they have to click another link to get to the actual product or service.
That is one of the main differences between an affiliate link and a normal link, and results in the tracking of your affiliate sales by the affiliate partner network you are working with.

How To Find Your Niche And Get Going
You need to find a specific audience (or groups of specific audiences) and then craft a message designed to deliver value to them. You do this by determining what problems or what desires your prospective customers have and then crafting a message around these issues.
Once you’ve identified the problems your prospective customers have (and you should really only focus on the ones that are most important to your business), the next step is to craft a compelling value proposition. This is the most overlooked part of the process.
People pay lip service to the idea that they must first identify a problem... but then spend all their time trying to “dream up” a solution. That’s the lazy man’s approach. The savvy man (or woman) avoids this trap by first identifying the real problems (or desires) that exist in the marketplace and then crafting a compelling value proposition around these problems (or desires).
It took me three tries and quite a bit of research before I found my niche:
My first attempt was too general and unfocused.
My second attempt was too specific and left me little wiggle room to grow.
My third attempt, where I targeted parents who wanted to create a passive income stream to spend more time with their family, is what finally worked for me, as it was a pain-point I was very familiar with.
You can see by using this method what my results just for this month are!

If you don't know what problems or desires your prospective customers have, ask them! You should always be on the lookout for opportunities to learn about your customers. You should not only pay attention to what they tell you but also to how they say it, the look in their eyes, their body language, and other non-verbal communication clues.
You should also observe your customers in real life situations and note what problems or desires they have there. You can even get help from friends, relatives and coworkers to gain insight into what your customers want.
Once you’ve identified the real problems (or desires) that exist in the marketplace and you’ve crafted a compelling value proposition around these problems (or desires), you need to create a sales message designed to deliver that value proposition to your customers.
This is where many people fail.
They get hung up on the nuts and bolts of the process… without ever getting to the important part which is to craft the “artistry” of the sales message. It is here that many people lose heart. They get bogged down with details you have to simplify the process!
There are certain problems or desires that almost everyone has in common. These are the ones you should focus on if you are going to be successful. For example, almost everyone wants to make a lot of money, have a good reputation, be healthy and have a loving family.
When you get really specific, you can craft a compelling value proposition that is very narrow in scope. In my case, I believe that niche was formed by the realization I had that many parents (especially mothers) want to reduce the amount of stress in their lives and increase their sense of well-being. This is especially true after they have had a baby.
What I did was to identify this need specifically and then craft a compelling value proposition around it. In doing so, I was able to come up with a very specific and very targeted audience (parents with young children that want to spend more time at home by creating a passive income stream) and then craft a message designed to deliver specific and targeted value to them.
This is an example of extremely focused niche identification. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you try it.
It will improve the quality of your own marketing almost immediately!

How To Choose An Affiliate Program/Product To Promote
The first step in choosing a good affiliate program is to make sure you are dealing with a reputable company. There are a few things to look for when evaluating an affiliate program.
The first is commission rate. Make sure you are dealing with a company that pays you a healthy commission rate for every sale you make. Also, make sure the company offers a good variety of products and services. The last thing you want to deal with is an affiliate program where you are limited to promoting only one or two products or services.
The next thing you should do is evaluate your list of affiliate partners to find the ones that are a good fit for your audience. Affiliates should be those partners that have products or services your audience will be interested in. Make sure your audience can find and access the products or services you are selling via your affiliate link.
Also, make sure your they will have an easy and fast way to buy whatever it is you are promoting. If they don’t, they won’t use your affiliate link, and therefore, you won’t get paid for the sales generated from that link.
OK... So you found an Affiliate partner to work with but now what products should you promote?
When it comes to picking out the right product to promote, Its really all about solving the problems your prospects are dealing with!
If you don't know what problems or desires your prospective customers have, ask them! You should always be on the lookout for opportunities to learn about your customers. You should not only pay attention to what they tell you but also to how they say it, the look in their eyes, their body language, and other non-verbal communication clues.

How To Determine Your Sales Message
This is the big one. What is your sales message? Your sales message is what you say to your audience to get them to respond to your offer. The first step toward determining your sales message is to understand what you want your prospects to do.
Do you want them to sign up for your free report?
To buy your book?
To give you an order?
To take a certain action (like subscribe to your newsletter)?
Whatever it is, figure out what you want them to do. Next, think about how you can use benefits to persuade them to perform that action.
What are the advantages of doing what you want them to do?
How will they benefit by acting on your offer?
Think about how you can describe these benefits in a way that makes your reader eager to act.
Now that you have identified the benefits of performing the desired action, you need to find a way to present these benefits in such a way as to be most persuasive. This is where your powerful sales message comes from. It is what you say to your prospect to get him to purchase your offer.
Now, let's talk about the first big advantage you can give your prospect. This advantage will be the main reason he'll want to do whatever you are asking him to do. This advantage should be something that is easy for your reader to understand and relate to.
If you are writing a sales pitch for yourself, you need to think about what you are best at:
What is the strongest part of your personality?
What can you offer others?
What can you offer other people that is so valuable that it will make them eager to do whatever you ask?
Let's take the example of selling a book or a report. One of the main ways you can use to describe the benefits of owning your report is to tell how much money he will save by having read it. Let's say your report tells how a certain diet can help people lose weight.
Well, if that's the case, you could describe the weight-loss aspect of the report like this:
"This report reveals exactly what foods to eat and what foods to avoid so you can lose weight without giving up your favorite foods."
Or, you could say:
"This report will show you how to lose 10 pounds by using...
Let's take the example of selling a book or a report. One of the main ways you can use to describe the benefits of grabbing your FREE Ebook or lead magnet, is to tell how much money they will save by having read it. Let's say your report tells how a certain diet can help people lose weight.
Well, if that's the case, you could describe the weight-loss aspect of the report like this:
"This report reveals exactly what foods to eat and what foods to avoid so you can lose weight without giving up your favorite foods."
The way these reports/lead magnets are delivered are usually through a website/funnel which we will breakdown in the next section.
How To Set Up Your Website/Funnel For Your Lead Magnet (FREE Offer)
What you want to do here is entice the reader to take the next step. Lead magnets do this by giving away valuable information in the form of an ebook, a checklist, a cheat sheet, etc.
The idea is to create a perceived benefit for the reader which is so compelling and makes the sale so easy, he or she cannot ignore it. A well-written lead magnet is like a “trigger” that gets your prospect's greed gland firing.
Once you have created this amazing Lead Magnet we need to direct the traffic to our Funnel page/website to grab this irresistible offer from you buy joining your email list.
The software’s that I use for building my funnels are Clickfunnels and Systeme.io.

ClickFunnels is one of the most powerful, yet simple-to-use software products available today. It was created by Russell Brunson and is used by hundreds of companies (both big and small) each month. ClickFunnels is not a typical website builder. It is much more powerful than that.
What it does instead is let you focus on creating a dynamic, fully-functional sales machine. And it does this in a way that makes it easy for you to drag and drop elements on to your web page, modify the colors and fonts, add social media sharing buttons, and much, much more.
For this article I want to focus on 2 different types of funnels:
Lead Capture Funnels and Sales Funnels.
A lead capture funnel is simply a tool used to capture an email address from a website visitor. After the visitor has filled out the form on your website to get more information about your product or service, he or she is taken to a “thank you” page whereupon the visitor gets an email asking him or her to confirm his or her email address. This is the lead capture funnel. The idea is to capture as many email addresses as possible and then, send the captured emails (which are called “leads”) to your sales funnel.
Sales funnels are a bit more complicated. They consist of a set of conditions the visitor must satisfy before he or she can become a customer. These conditions might include buying something from you, subscribing to your newsletter, giving you his or her email address, etc. Once the visitor satisfies all the required conditions, he or she becomes qualified to be in your sales funnel. From that point on, it's up to you to convince the visitor that buying now is indeed the best option for him or her.
One thing I like to do is scope out my competition and see the types of funnels they build for each step in their value ladder, and then model my funnels with my unique messaging to ensure they will convert at a high level.

Now if you know about Funnels you have probably heard the term ''Funnel Hacking'' before.
Funnel hacking is one of those terms that was popularized by Russell Brunson and uses the word “hacking” in a positive way to mean “getting around the blocks set up by someone else in order to achieve your goal.” Funnel hacking is not a new idea though. It's actually been going on since the dawn of marketing.
What Brunson does is take concepts that have been used for centuries and makes them easy and applicable to anyone with a computer and an internet connection.
So now that we covered Clickfunnels, let's talk about the other software I use for funnel building, email marketing, and hosting my blog.
Systeme.io is an online software service that lets you create and manage multistep, conditional, automated website and/or mobile app sales funnels. What this means is that you can put together a few simple form fields, a couple of drop-down menus, and some radio buttons, and then Systeme.io will create and host a “funnel” for you.
Once you fill out the simple form, your computer will be instructed to take you to a certain webpage based on the answers you gave. This is very similar to Clickfunnels, but what I like directly with systeme.io is that it is a much cheaper option (especially for beginners), and it allows you to build not only funnels, but your own blog, email automation, and you can even build your own affiliate program for people to promote digital products or courses you may eventually decide to sell.
(HINT:This blog article is hosted on my website which was created in systeme.io!)
The thing I love about using Clickfunnels and Systeme.io is how easy both platforms are to use even for someone that is a complete beginner and not ''tech-savy'' clickfunnels will run you around $97 per month on their entry level tier, for a cheaper option you can use Systeme.io with plans as low as $27 per month.
If you would like to start FREE trials for these programs click these links below and let me know you did by sending me a message so I can send you some FREE training on how to build your funnels and I will also give you some templates you can use.

How to convert prospects into sales with Email Marketing
So you created your Lead Magnet, built your Funnel, and now you are getting people to signup for your email list..... Now what?
Now its time to start building out your email auto responder to take your clients on a journey with your copy(emails) to ascend them up your value ladder into affiliate sales.
If you haven’t implemented email marketing automation in your business, you are truly missing the boat. The benefits of doing so are enormous. Instead of spending days, weeks typing up emails every other day to your list you can build out an automation sequence and have the emails drip out to your subscribers every other day which builds trust, value, and will allow you to continuously promote your affiliate links to this audience with the goal of continuous affiliate Commissions.
Once you begin emailing your list on a consistent basis:
You get more qualified leads.
Leads that are ready to buy.
Leads that actually want what you are selling.
Leads that are hot and hungry.
Leads that actually read your messages.
Leads that buy from you.
Less spam.
More deliverability.
Higher open rates.
More qualified traffic.
And lower cost per acquisition.
In this section I am going to give you some ideas on how to create a basic drip campaign. These ideas can be expanded upon and fine tuned to get the results you are looking for. First, we need to decide on a frequency at which we want to send our drip campaign. It is important to decide early on on this because it will have a major effect on the success of your drip campaign.
Let’s say you decide you want to drip every other day. What that means is you will send a new email to your list on that same day every two days. If you wait until the next day to send another email, it will be three days since your last message. That will make it difficult for people who haven’t received your first email to remember what you were saying and be interested in what you have to say.
On the other hand, if you wait too long (more than 2-3 days) people will begin to forget about you and stop opening your emails. In general, I recommend waiting no more than two days between drip campaigns. This is a very rough guideline and will vary depending on many different factors. One of the most important factors is the size of your list. The smaller the list, the less time you should wait between drip campaigns.
Now that we know how often we are going to drip our campaign, let’s think about what type of emails we can use to point people to our affiliate offers without coming across spammy. One way I do this is by creating whats called ''soap opera sequence'' email campaigns.
Soap opera sequences are great for building an emotional connection with your subscribers. What happens in a soap opera sequence is they will read a series of emails which seem to be unrelated but are, in fact, all leading up to something important. The way soap opera sequences work is the writer will start with a teaser of some kind and then, little by little, reveal more and more about the story. That's what we are going to do here.
We are going to create a drip campaign that starts with a very light “teaser” email and then, little by little reveals more and more of the nitty-gritty details of our offer. This drip campaign will build on the ideas presented in my last two newsletters. Let’s get started. The first thing I want you to do is write out the following instructions. Then go ahead and follow these instructions exactly as written.
Once you are done, you will have created a great starting point for your drip campaign. As the reader continues to read through your campaign, trust is being built, value is being built, and your story is being told that creates a trigger point emotionally which then opens the door for you to make your offers for them to purchase your affiliate links.
I use closerscopy for all of my email building, and copywriting it is by far the most powerful tool I use to get affiliate sales by writing compelling content that converts.

Why is Affiliate Marketing the best passive income stream
Affiliate marketing offers the most freedom of choice in terms of products and services you can promote. There are no limits to what you can promote and only minimal limitations on how much you can promote. Plus, affiliates get a cut of every sale they generate. This is true commission-based affiliate marketing at its purest.
Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money on the Internet. It offers more opportunities for independence and flexibility than almost any other type of online business. There are very low overhead expenses, no inventory required, no customers to pay for shipping charges, the customer service is all done by your affiliate partner no limits on how much you can sell and no limits on how much you can earn. Plus, you get a very generous commission for every sale you make.
All you have to do is drive traffic to your website and let people buy whatever it is your promoting. The fact that you get a cut of every sale your affiliate makes means that you can make a lot of money with this kind of online marketing. All you need is a few good products to promote and a little know-how, you should try this type of marketing if you want maximum freedom and the absolute best chance for success.
With affiliate marketing, you set your own hours, work from home, or go where you want to go. You don't have to report to anyone, be overseen by anyone, or even deal with anyone other than your customers. Plus, you get a portion of every sale generated by your promotion.
Which affiliate program Do I recommend.
Now remember, there are infinite companies and products you can affiliate for, but as I mentioned earlier its about finding out your niche and determining the best way to solve the problems they are facing. For me, I like to promote a product that has a high ticket price-point and that pays a high Commission rate of 50% or higher.
If you would like to join my Side Hustle Accelerator group coaching program with the chance to earn up to 50% commission as an affiliate you will learn how to start and scale multiple income streams online with a step by step course and Live group coaching in my mastermind.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the real secret to making money with affiliate marketing is to become an expert on your buyers and then deliver exactly what they want. When you do this, you don’t have to try to convince them to buy something that they don’t really want. Instead, you’ll be able to sell them something they desperately need.
This is a huge advantage and it cannot be underestimated. Once you understand this, your affiliate profits will go through the roof!
